Design
When its come to design HTC have taken it from 2010′s HTC Legend. Its a old design but don’t take me wrong, its nice.It has sturdy Aluminium unibody design. The surface of the body is brushed type i.e. it has mat finish so there is no space for smudges and finger prints. There is a chin at the lower part of the phone. Back of this chin there is a removable cover which houses SD Card and SIM Card.In short, HTC One v has very nice design and build quality is pretty solid.
There is no back cover to remove battery i.e. it has non-removable battery.Dimensions of device are 120.3×59.7×9.2 mm.Its slim and width of the phone is also is good, so pretty comfortable to hold it in hand. But the height of the device is slightly bigger for a 3.7 inch phone.
There is power/lock button and 3.5 mm earphone jack on top of the phone.the volume rocker is on right side of phone. These button are
Specifications
One V is a quad band device so you will never face network issues during international roaming.I mean to say its supports all carriers around the world.
Lets come to display, it has 3.7 inch(diagonal) new SLCD display.Resolution is 480×800 and pixel density is 250ppi(pixels per inch). Its crisp, color reproduction is excellent.Viewing angle is also very nice though colors starts fading after 150°, but who wants to look at his phone at 150° angle.
Lets compare it with Samsung Omnia W’s Pentile Super AMOLED screen :
| Features/Phones | HTC One V | Samsung Omnia W |
| Brightness | Good | Poor |
| Sharpness | Good | Poor |
| Contrast | Good | Best |
| Saturation | Good | Over saturated |
We are comparing it with Samsung Omnia W because it is the only phone in this price range which has Super AMOLED screen. In this comparison test contrast is the only field where Super AMOLED wins. The sun legibility of One V is just fine.
